Meet Jodie
The digital eye behind Stills by JP
Hi, I'm Jodie, the photographer behind Stills by JP, based in Sydney's Sutherland Shire.
I got into this because I wanted to help people feel comfortable in front of the camera, not performed. I don't pose you, I guide and direct, so you're never left standing there wondering what to do with your hands. My style is natural and relaxed, but the process is considered I'm looking for the real moment in between, not a stiff, staged one.
That means giving you space to just be talking, laughing, existing in the space with the people or the brand you're there for while I capture what's actually happening. As a mum myself, toddlers are my favourite to shoot the chaos, the big feelings, the in-between moments most people rush past. You walk away with a gallery you'll genuinely want to look at again. Photos you'll print, share, and use not just file away.
Before photography, I spent 20+ years in corporate so I understand business, and I understand what actually builds a brand. That's part of what makes brand and content imagery a real strength for me, not just a nice photo. I shoot family stories, couples, brand and content imagery always with the same approach: warm, unrushed, and focused on what's real.

Meet Soph
The film-taker + moments keeper
Soph is a multidisciplinary creative, 35mm film photographer and business mentor with a love for documenting the pieces that happen in between — the movement, the hands, the laughter. Her work is influenced by nostalgia, storytelling and the imperfect beauty of analogue photography.
Alongside 35mm film, Soph captures short-form video and B-roll, giving you moving memories and ready-to-share content from the same experience.
